Us too. Waldorf education teaches children to know themselves and think independently. This fosters curiosity, a lifelong love of learning, emotional intelligence, and the independent thining skills they need to be joyful humans.
Remember when children climbed trees?
We do—it was yesterday! At SWS, children of all ages are encourages to climb, jumo, swing, and dig in the dirt to play and learn. It's not uncommon to see kindergartnes digging holes, second graders rolling logs to build forts, and eighth graders chatting in the limbs of a tree.


Don't want your child to be taught just for test scores?
At SWS, the teachers present curriculum that inspires interest and curiosity, rather than guiding the students towards the correct answers on a standardized state test. This type of learning guides students to a lifelong love of learning.

Worried about the amount of screen time your child has?
At SWS, children learn to read and write from experienced teachers. Technology is introduced in 7th grade as a part of curriculum to learn how the latest tech can be used as helpful tools. Awareness regarding social media addiction and cyber bullying is also discussed.
